Hiking and a Special Thank You

Today, I went hiking near Woods Landing, WY.  I needed some fall pictures for a photography contest I plan to enter and I needed some time away from the computer and the apartment.  The weather was great and I think I got some good pictures.

I also want to take this opportunity to thank my mom, Jeri Stallings, and my aunt, Judy Deshayes for their generous donations to my GoFundMe Campaign.  I also want to share two charities that you may be interested in donating to:

St Jude Children’s Hospital

Wounded Warrior Project

I recently completed my PhD in Education (Curriculum and Instruction) at the University of Wyoming. I have published multiple articles in peer reviewed journals and have a book chapter coming early next year. I aim to explore issues of privilege and equity of education, especially as they pertain to STEM education.

  1. Nice to meet you via WordPress.
You sure took some beautiful photographs of the Fall colors. I long to see colors like that but there’s very little of that here in Las Vegas Nevada. I think there’s more Neon Lights than there are trees!

St Jude Children’s Research Hospital is in the reindeer organization to me and I’ve written three newsletters that you might be interested in. One is called The Quest for the Cancer Cure.

Later today I’ll air the latest issue I’m totally inspired I’m from there and you can sign up and subscribe and it will put a new issue in your box each day.

    Always be blessed.

    • Thank you so much for including my post on your site. Great information on the Quest post. My cousin had neuroblastoma from birth and died at age 5, but St. Jude took great care of him and never charged a dime to his parents. You have a great website and I really like the inspiring photos.
